Book Haul and lots of other pretties

In the last two weeks I got the last of my birthday stuff (you don't need to wish me happy birthday again guys. It was in September), a review book and a few purchases. A fair bit of my ebay stuff arrived as well as my Modcloth order.

FROM MY FRIEND:
I got a tote bag with a Sylvia Plath quote on it, a ball of yarn and 'Desires of The Dead' by Kimberly Derting. I'm really excited about this book, because I loved the first one.

FROM MY AUNTY:
Stardust
'Stardust' by Neil Gaiman
-I've got the movie, but could never get into it, so I thought if I got the book I would actually want to watch the movie (after I read the book that is). This book has been on my wish list for a while, but I never got around to purchasing it, so I'm glad my aunty did. I just love these covers too!

The Last Echo (The Body Finder #3)
'The Last Echo' by Kimberly Derting
-Book three in the 'Body Finder' series.

FROM HARPER COLLINS:
What's Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles, #1)
'What's Left of Me' by Kat Zhang
-This is one of my surprise review copies. I think it's a really unique concept and might be one of those novels (like 'Throne of Glass') that I didn't expect to love, but did anyway.

FROM MODCLOTH:
'DIY Couture' by Rosie Martin & 'What Would Audrey Do?' by Pamela Clarke Keogh
-These books were just too cute! Also, the sunnies are great. They fit my little head and are really dark.

^These scarves are a little darker than expected, but they are still adorable. I really wanted to buy something fashion-y without worrying about whether or not it would fit.

MY JEWELLERY:
-The fairy moon necklace was from my mun for my birthday (I forgot to show it to you guys)
-The sewing machine one is from ModCloth
-The French Horn, bird in a nest, carousel horse and robot necklace are all from Too Fashion 2010 on Etsy
-The Vampire Diaries pendant is from dollarjewelry

CLOTHES:
I apologise in advance for the dodgy photos. These clothes are all from Ebay

-This top is a chiffon scalloped tank top. It's a bit loose fitting (is supposed to be that way) and it isn't very see through (but, I'm wondering if the other colours are more see through). I got it from only.online store

-This is a textured body-con skirt that I ordered. I'm not much of a pencil skirt person, but this stretchy new version is actually kinda comfy. I opted for the textured one, because I think it will be less revealing than a plainer one (VPLs and all that). I got it from mdjewellery

-This is a green chiffon skirt I bought. The top layer is knee length and the lining is mid-thigh. I got it from Mystyle.Online

-A short black petti-coat. It's very fifties and my sister hates it. I think it's absolutely adorable. It'd probably be nice to get one that's a little bit longer, but I think this one does an alright job (for the cost anyways). I got it from Ezone Direct

-This Is a white chiffon tee I bought. I think it will be a nice cool summer top to wear over a white singlet. I got it from Chinese Expo 2010

Obviously eBay isn't flawless. There were a few items that didn't quite fit me, but the stores did give me a refund when I contacted them.

-This is a black skirt I bought from work (not going to disclose where that is). It's the closest thing to my dream work skirt that I've found so far.

CDS:
Almost Forgot!
I got:
-'Electra Heart' by Marina and the Diamonds
-'Nightflight' by Kate Miller- Heidke
-'By The Horns' by Julia Stone
-'Live Through This' by Hole'
All from JBHIFI

What did you get in the mail this week/fortnight?

You got the beeest stuff. I want to read that DIY Couture book. All the DIY books I have are sooo bad. Please review it!

Thanks for the suggestion. I was actually thinking of maybe making a few things from the book first, so it may be a while before i review it, but i sure will. I agree that some DIY books tend to be full of some very basic ideas or have really weird ones and be way over-priced.
