Book Haul: Only listing the books this time.

Hi guys,
I know that I would normally include all my other purchases in a haul, but I have put so many of them away that I can't even remember what is new and what isn't, so I thought I would just keep it short and sweet and list the books. I have a lot of posts written out in my notebook ready to go, but if you have any requests for a beauty review (of a product you have seen in a previous haul) or another post feel free to let me know in the comments.

^Here is my haul for the week. From Penguin I got 'Prince of Shadows' by Rachel Caine and 'Vampire Academy: Official Illustrated Movie Companion'. I bought 'The Coming of The Fairies' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle which is about the Cottingley fairy photographs. I also bought 'Anything to Have You' by Paige Harbison, mainly because I thought 'Here Lies Bridget' was really good. And, finally I bought 'Tape' by Steven Camden. I have never heard of that novel before, but the cover drew me in and the synopsis was really intriguing.

What did you get in the mail this week?

Natalie

The Coming of The Fairies is a title I'd thoroughly enjoy reading myself, too. I've always been a bit amazed by the fact that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was so apt to believe that the sisters really had photographed fairies (and that he became quite interested in spiritualist topics in his later years). It seems, to me, at odds for a man that wrote stories so grounded in the pursuit of scientific evidence and analytically minded concrete proof.

Yes it's definitely fascinating. I just adore fairies and always have as a child, so the movie 'Fairytale' about the cottingley fairies definitely got a lot of air-time. And I love a good hoax :)
