Beauty Review: Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner

I have been using this eyeliner for a little while now. I decided to take a picture of eyeliner applied thinly on the top lash line so you could all see how fine a line this could create (though I have used it to create much thicker lines). Now that I am looking back at these pictures I think it's a little difficult to tell I've even got eyeliner on at all.

As far as I can tell the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner only comes in "Blackest Black". It is a very pigmented shade and I don't usually find myself trying to go over patches like I have with other products.

This eyeliner comes in a pen form and has a small brush tip. The size of this tip allows you to create a huge variety of line shapes and sizes. I really like the brush tip for application because it makes the line go on smoother and your pen doesn't skip over and bumps/lines etc. I thought the thin tip would make this easier to match with both eyes, but I find that I am still too much of a perfectionist and can't seem to be satisfied with both eyes.

This is not a waterproof liner so I wouldn't go swimming with it on or anything like that, but it does last reasonably well. I don't get the black mark on my crease at the end of the day like I have with other liners.

I bought this from a supermarket on sale and I cannot remember how much it cost, but according to Priceline it's usually $13.95 which I think is fairly reasonable considering the quality.

Have you tried this eyeliner? What are your thoughts?

Kind Regards,

That is wonderfully precise indeed! I'm a devoted fan of the black liquid liner from the Canadian brand Joe Fresh, but it's on shortcoming IMO, is that it can't get anywhere near that fine (at least I can't get it to). Sometimes I wish it did though, so I'm definitely going to have see if this Maybelline liner is available here in Canada. Thank you very much for the lovely introduction.

Big hugs,
