Pretty Picture Post: Monochramatic Dreams

Hello People,
I decided today that I wanted to share some black and white pictures I like. Not all of them were originally black and white, but some of them definitely look nice that way. I recently purchased some more black and white movies from my local discount store which happens to be having a closing down sale. Yes that's right "closing down", though that's not entirely unusual in our town, especially with discount stores. I am hoping the other store will be enough until something new opens up in the place of this one. That is, if something does replace it...

I hope you all enjoyed the pictures :)
I promise to make an attempt at some beauty and book reviews shortly. I know it has been a while since I posted any decent reviews.

Very much so. I adore B&W photography a great deal. It captures certain nuisances and moods that colour images, for all their perks and pros, can sometimes fail to do, or to do to the same extent. Plus, let's face it, B&W images usually convey such an instant sense of vintage-ness, it's hard not adore them for that reason alone! :)

Big hugs,
♥ Jessica

*PS* Shops tend to drop like flies, if you will, in our town, too, so I can certainly relate. Case in point, just a few weeks ago, we lost the largest (though thankfully, not the best) pet supply and food store here.

Yes, we are hoping that our town will get better soon, everyone is trying to get together to make improvements to our economy. Don't know how it's going to work though... It is looking a little promising as far as events go, we have had a few events this year that might become an annual thing :)
