Top ten Tuesday: Ten books I would save in a natural disaster/alien abduction.

It wasn't that long ago (A year maybe?) that the town I live in was supposedly going to be hit by a cyclone, so I kind of know what I would choose. I think that like Neil Gaiman, Choosing your favourite books is like choosing the body part you would most like to lose.

There are obviously the favourites, but if I'm going to save books, I'm only going to save the ones that I would like to reread.

1) Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
My Copy is a 20 year old Reader's Digest edition with an awesome tree design on the front. Who wouldn't save that?

2)The Host by Stephanie Meyer
Do I really need an explanation for that one? The whole body invader stuff might come in handy?

3) The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
Pure genius and plenty of ideas if I decide to beat the aliens to the killing part.

4) I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith
I can't believe I hadn't read it until this year.

5) The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen
I couln't survive without my magical realism

6) Tender is the night by F scott fitzgerald.
I haven't read it yet, but I really would like to.

7) The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald
It's awesome...

8) Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
I would love to take all of her vampire books, but I probably can't so I choose her most recent one.

9) The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstein

10)Graveminder by Melissa Marr

I'm finding that my selection of books isn't varying too much in top ten tuesday. I tend to pick my favourites all the time.

What books did you pick?

I've not heard of a lot of these, but The Host is awesome!

Hmmm wow this is a good question. I did love the Bell Jar, and LOVE Sarah Allen Addison! I will have to think about this and maybe do a post next week.

I've only read the first two books on your list, so I'll have to get around to reading the others. I'm so far behind on my "literary" reading. Also, I'm a new follower. :)

Great idea to bring a book you haven't read. I thought to include just whatever I was reading at the time, because I suppose I would want to finish it.
