Top tens(umm twelves): Books I loved but didn't review

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish.

1. THE BELL JAR:
Sylvia Plath; The Suicidal poet and her semi-autobiographical novel about her early college years. A novel about being where we have all been. Feeling inadequate and not knowing where to start when it's time for making self-improvements. All set in the fifties. If there was one book that was worth having every edition of It was this one.

2.THE GREAT GATSBY:
In terms of reviewing there isn't much to say about 'The Great Gatsby'. It was great, it's about a guy named Gatsby and it is a classic. That's all you can say without giving away too much. And boy oh boy am I keen for the movie version of this.

3. JANE EYRE
Well obviously, right... I harp on and on about this book every time I have a chance. There goes another chance...

4. MY NAME IS MEMORY by Anne Brashares
Imagine going through your lives being reincarnated and being one of the few who remembers each life. Falling in love with the same soul over and over again and learning that Karma does exist...

5. THE THIRD ANGEL by Alice Hoffman
A beautiful novel. Three small story-lines joined by one connection. This book left me with a feeling of awe. The descriptions were amazing.

6. TWILIGHT
Yep, I loved it. I read it like three times. I am a freak. In my defense I think the other three books are to blame for all the twi-haters. New moon was one of the most depressing two weeks of my life and eclipse wasn't much better. Breaking Dawn I liked, but have to admit that Stephanie's Pro-life storyline goes a little too far...

7. SENSE AND SENSIBILITY
The first Jane Austen Book I ever read. Who knew that people were so gossipy in the Victorian era?

8.PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
This book has been sooo reviewed. How could one of my reviews stand up to the many online. For the first half of the book I preferred the film and for the second half I preferred the book. The quickest I have ever read the last 30 chapters of a novel.

9.THE HOST
Wow. And there are so many people that haven't read this one. If you haven't add it to your TBR now!

10. THE GEMMA DOYLE TRILOGY by Libba Bray
That's right three books. All crazy wonderful novels that everyone should read

+11. TOMORROW ALL WILL BE BEAUTIFUL by Brigid Lowry
A beautiful collection of Short stories and such.

+12. THE DISTANT HOURS by Kate Morton
I love you tomb of a book.

Wow, looks like we have similar taste in books... : )
I loved Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice and I put both of them on my list.
I also read The Host, and I loved it! Also on my list. : )
I liked Twilight and Sense and Sensibility, but there are not on the list. : ( There were no enough space for them.
And I'm dying to read The distant Hours... It looks pretty amazing! :)

I kind of agree with you about Twilight. I'm not a huge fan but I think it was the 3 books after that which really did kill it. New Moon is wrist-slittingly depressing and Eclipse isn't much better. But the wtf that is Breaking Dawn really topped it off.

I have Jane Eyre on my TBR I really, really need to read it soon.
