The First three novels in the Merry Gentry Series by Laurell K Hamilton:

2. Caress of Twilight
3. Seduced by Moon Light
and the piece of paper that was on the back of the packet.
So much for being on a book buying ban! I saw this pack of 3 books wrapped in plastic with a $8.88 sticker on it and just had to purchase. Mum let me buy it because it was so cheap. I guess I shouldn't have bought them seeing as I have so much to read already, but I have heard this author is really good and had no idea that she had a faerie series.
According to some reviewers this author's writing can be too gory and erotic for some to handle. Others tend to say that her writing is along the same lines as Richelle mead's "Succubus" series, which I was fine with. I am hoping because it has faeries rather than bloodsucking vampires or biting werewolves I will be okay with these books and not freak out.
I haven't read much 'Urban Fantasy' before and haven't heard of any with faeries in them and the books werent exactly on my wishlist. What can I say? The covers are pretty, It's a well known author, It works out less than $3 per book, It has faeries and It's a fairly new genre to me.
Worst case scenario: If I don't like them, I have a friend who probably will.
And Just Then (Yes I had to edit this hall to add a book), I got "Remarkable Creatures" by Tracy Chevalier. It cost me $4.99 at Sam's Warehouse.
It is a Fantasy/Historical novel, I think.
It was on my very large Shelfari to-read list.
I will now stop blabbing.

I love Tracy Chevaliar. She writes a very compelling story and her characters are real with depth. I always feel their sadness and their joy.
